You can upgrade from a Basic to Advantage membership through My Account. After logging in, go to the Memberships tab and click Upgrade.
How Membership Upgrades Work
When you upgrade from Basic ($129/year) to Advantage ($199/year), you’re not just charged the $70 difference. Instead, your billing date resets to the day you upgrade, and we automatically apply a credit for the unused time on your Basic plan toward your new Advantage plan.
Here’s an example:
Let’s say you joined Basic on January 1 and upgraded to Advantage on April 1.
A Basic membership costs about $0.35 per day ($129 ÷ 365).
You used 90 days of Basic, so you still had 275 unused days worth about $96.
That $96 is applied as a credit toward your Advantage membership.
So instead of paying the full $199, you’d pay $103 for the rest of the year — and your new renewal date would now be April 1.
In short: when you upgrade, you’ll get credit for any unused time from your current plan, and your new plan (and billing date) starts fresh from the day you upgrade.
